we believe in continuous learning and industry collaboration. We proudly take part in major geoscience events to share our expertise, expand our network, and support the growth of the profession.
Geochitra is an event organized by Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) that focuses on promoting advanced geotechnical engineering diverse approach on overcoming natural hazards.
GAT Group proudly steps in as a Bronze Sponsor, bringing our geotechnical mastery to the forefront. We’re here not only to connect with future clients, but to ignite inspiration and share real-world knowledge with young talents—because this event speaks directly to who we are and what we stand for.
The 60th CCOP Annual Session took place from 3 to 7 November 2024 on Langkawi Island, Kedah, Malaysia, convened by the national authorities together with CCOP’s Technical Secretariat. The event provided a regional forum for geoscientists, government agencies and stakeholders from member countries to present, discuss and exchange knowledge on key thematic topics — including the 2024 Thematic Session titled “Geoscience in Transition” — with focus on areas such as sustainable resource management, climate-resilient geology, and new geoscience applications.
Besides from being one of the Platinum Sponsor, GAT Group had been always looking for a participation in this event as to giving out the best of our products that aligned with our aim in building a sustainable development.
The PICN is Malaysia’s national master-plan for slope management, aimed at coordinating risk assessment, mitigation, and sustainable governance to reduce landslide and slope-failure hazards nationwide. In 2025, under the PICN framework, Simposium Cerun Negara 2025 (SCN 2025) was held on 7–8 May in Putrajaya. Themed “Way Forward – National Slope Master Plan”, share the same as GAT Group future plan in providing advanced services on mitigating slope hazards.
The Jerayawara MyGEMS JMG 2025 — also known as the outreach for the spatial-data platform MyGEMS (under Jabatan Mineral dan Geosains Malaysia, JMG) — was held on 15 July 2025 at Dewan Seri Melati, Putrajaya. Through the outreach, JMG and its partners aimed to promote use of geospatial technology, encourage data-driven decision-making, and enhance public accessibility to geological information.
As one of GAT Group’s dedicated partners, we proudly join forces to showcase our cutting-edge landslide distribution technology, bringing advanced geotechnical insights closer to the community.
With ongoing landslide-monitoring projects across Malaysia, GAT Group is proud to participate in this seminar on Resilient Slopes. Our involvement reflects our commitment to advancing safer slope management through continuous monitoring, real-time data analysis, and innovative geotechnical solutions. By joining this event, GAT Group aims to share practical insights from our field experience while supporting industry efforts to improve sustainable slope design, strengthen early-warning systems, and enhance governance for long-term resilience.
GeoFiesta brings together geotechnical, geological, and geospatial professionals to showcase innovations and best practices in the industry. As a company actively involved in slope monitoring, geotechnical investigation, GIS mapping, and landslide-risk management, GAT Group is proud to join this event. Our participation is to promote safer, advanced data-driven ground engineering solutions while supporting knowledge sharing within Malaysia’s geo-community. Through GeoFiesta, GAT Group continues to contribute expertise toward building resilient, well-managed terrain for communities and infrastructure.
